Cannabis Clinic Cardiff is a patient-centred, clinician-led private medical clinic.
The clinic provides an assessment service for people with mental health conditions who believe they may benefit from prescription of a Cannabis-Derived Medicinal Product (CDMP) for their illness.
Patients can self-refer to the clinic and/or have a referral from their mental health specialist to have a FREE eligibility assessment.
An initial appointment with a Specialist Consultant will follow, assessing your symptoms and medical history to determine your suitability for having a trial of a CDMP.
There is no guarantee that an initial appointment will result in a prescription of a CDMP and any prescribed product will be determined as appropriate by the prescribing physician and entirely at their discretion.
At present, CDMPs can only be prescribed for a limited range of conditions and for patients who meet minimum eligibility criteria.
